Nepal is a developing country where more than 40% of the total Population lives below the most basic poverty line. Thousands of small Children are deprived of educational opportunities in Nepal, because of Social issues and lack of Schooling opportunities. You now have the opportunity to help Nepali children while trekking in Mt. Annapurna Nepal. Center for Cultural Studies & Volunteering-Nepal has created a fundraising trek to the Annapurna Nepal in order to help poverty stricken children in Nepal.
As a participant of this fundraising trek to Annapurna you will have the opportunity to visit ancient and famous temples, palaces and places in Kathmandu and in Pokhara. This once in a lifetime experience will not end upon your descent to Kathmandu. Once you have returned to civilization you will then have the opportunity to visit various projects designed to assist Nepali children, woman’s, youth and the community we are working with. You will see the faces of the children and the people in the community, your funds will benefit.
From Kathmandu, the group will ride a private bus and drive to Kathmandu domestic Airport and catch a flight to Pokhara and begin a seven days trek to Annapurna region. Annapurna range is a conglomeration of twelve different glorious peaks standing above seven thousand meters. This unforgettable journey takes you through the lush green forest, terraced hills and beautiful villages full of cheerful faces.
You will hike through Thorang-La Pass and witness Tilicho Lake and travel around the magnificence of Machhapuchhre (Fish-Tail). 7 days of Annapurna trekking and catch the breathtaking sights of Mt. Annapurna, Gangapurna, Machhapuchhre and other snowcapped mountains.
The donation proceeds of this trip will go towards providing and helping us to sustain our community based projects and activities. This trek provides you with the opportunity to hike while helping the people of Nepal. This opportunity will give you a combined hiking and humanitarian experience of a lifetime.
